Enabling Shadow Copies on Windows 2008 File Server Step by Step Guide

In this tutorial i need to show you Step-by-Step Enable and Configure Shadow Copies on Windows 2008 File Server
This is very important when we think about Data Backup and Recovery, this tutorial highlight for Windows Server 2008 running on Virtual Machine. But, still fuction on Physicall Machine
Below Step-by-step for configure it :
- I assumed you has been activated your File Server Role on your server
- Open Server Manager, Right click on your volume you need to configure
- When a new windows open, point to Shadow Copy Tab, choose which volume you need to configure and click configure button
- Then new windows will open, defined parameter as needed, for detail you can see below capture
- Backup and Recover your data fastly
- If you using VM on VMware, you can create RDM datastore linked on your VM, this is very helpfull for prevent you lost Data even your VM crash or broken, you can raise your RDM on another VM on your cluster
- Last, this stuff is Free :)
